It's time friends. Shannon's Place is closing. Ruthie decided to close the salon at the end of this month and with the world situation being as it is I'm going to go with the flow. I have been blessed to be apart of a industry that has allowed me to share so many things. This says it all ❤

Yes- salon's will reopen- at some point- different for every state, & every salon.

💥Know you were missed terribly and your stylist is grateful for your return....
💥Know safety measures were created for all involved.
💥Know the importance of coming ALONE, extra people in a salon compromises everyone.
💥Know your stylist cannot physically work 16 hour days 7 days a week, rest is essential for all..😴
💥Know your initial services will take more time. ⌚
💥Know that coming in sick IS NOT an option
💥Know that walk-ins will not be an option for many salons- call the salon before you leave home.📞
💥Know that rescheduling hundreds of clients will take time...🤔⌚
💥Know that when you arrive you will need to wait until your stylist gives you the go ahead before entering the building, having your cell phone handy in your car will help considerably.
💥Know that your stylist is thrilled to see you but doesn't want or need a hug, your presence is the best hug ever. 😷
💥Know that your health is the biggest concern.
💥Know that your stylist/salon may choose to start services at a later date than the state you are in has allowed. Being respectful of that decision takes an unimaginable load off his/ her brain and heart.
💥Know your stylist has already lost thousands of 💸💸 and has no desire to do anything that could make either of you sick. Be patient. ❤
💥Know that if your health is already high risk, you need to wait, your health is more important..
💥Know that a 'soft opening ' will be anything but soft. 🙄
💥Know that your opinion of the entire situation won't change laws and rules necessary for everyone's safety , keep the conversation to hair and how we can make you beautiful ❤
💥Know that while trying to connect with your stylist there are hundreds of others attempting the same thing, responses will be slow coming as your stylist is preparing everything and answering everyone simultaneously
💥Know, above all else, no one is more excited about your arrival than your stylist- help make it the best appointment ever!!!🙏❤🙏❤🙏

I absolutely understand how badly some of you think you need a haircut ❤ EVERY day I get multiple calls, text and messages. Please stop and think about the reality of what this is going to take to safety accomplish this. Are you ready for prices to go up? Cost of business 🤷‍♀️ Are you willing to bring me cleaning supplies? What about the down time between clients that is spent cleaning the salon so it is safe for the next client? No more quick bang trims while another person waits. No more Haircuts in between the colors processing. Are you prepared to wear a mask the entire time I cut your hair? Are you willing to shower right before your appointment? Are you willing to pay my medical bills if I get covid 19 and the source is traced back to you?

Things to think about as you rush back out there. Maybe YOUR taking all the precautions and your willing to risk it for a haircut. I have to risk it how many times a day?

You trust me thank you for that!!

Let's not be a part of the second wave just yet. We see how well that's working out for people who were forced to vote, protester's, front line workers, people calling this a hoax.
