Fourteen years.
Some days it feels like we opened the doors yesterday. Other days it feels like we’ve lived a lifetime inside these walls.
This anniversary has me reflecting on the people who made it all possible.

To our family and friends who have supported us every step of the way…

Thank you for believing in my ability to create the kind of space you wanted to be in. Thank you for standing beside me through every high, every low, every renovation, every late night, every challenge, and every celebration. This business has your heart in it too. None of this would have been possible without your trust (even when it’s hard 😘) love and support.
GMSS has never been about being the biggest salon. It has always been about creating a place where people feel welcomed, safe, cared for, respected, and seen.
Looking back, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together.
Looking ahead, I’m excited for everything that’s still to come.
To everyone who has been part of our journey over the last 14 years, thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and allowing us to do what we love every single day.

One year ago, Ashley joined the GMSS family, and it’s been such a privilege to watch her grow.
This past year has been filled with learning, asking questions, building confidence, and finding her place within our team. She’s the kind of person who makes people feel comfortable the moment they meet her. Warm, kind, funny, and genuinely caring, she has a way of making both our guests and our team smile.
As she wraps up the final stages of her training and begins transitioning onto the salon floor as a stylist, I couldn’t be more excited to watch this next chapter unfold. The foundation she’s building now will serve her for years to come, and I know she’s just getting started.
Happy one-year anniversary, Ashley. Thank you for your heart, your willingness to learn, and for being such an important part of GMSS. We can’t wait to watch you shine. 💛
