When an appointment is missed without notice, that time has been reserved exclusively for one person. And with SR’s current waitlist, it’s especially difficult knowing that someone else would have happily taken that spot if we’d had the opportunity to offer it.

For a small, appointment-based business, an empty treatment room isn’t just an opening in the calendar. It represents time that can’t be recovered, income that is lost and another client who missed an opportunity to come in.

As a quick reminder:

🤍 We kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling.

🤍 Cancellations made 12–24 hours before an appointment are subject to a $50 fee.

🤍 Cancellations with less than 12 hours notice, same-day cancellations and no-shows are subject to 50% of the scheduled service.

And of course, communication always matters. If something happens, please reach out❤️

July Clinic Update ☀️

A little heads up as we head into summer -
we will be out of the office 3 out of the 5 weeks in July, so appointment availability and communication may look a little different next month.

During this time, I will have limited access to phone, text and email but Jennifer will be standing by to help with appointment changes, product orders and any general questions that come up while I’m away.

If you know you’ll need any skincare restocks, product pickups, gift cards or anything handled before July, I’ll be available from now through this Friday, 6/26, and would be happy to get you all set before I step out.

A little energetic reset for our clinic today 🤍✨

We welcomed the wonderful Jennifer Norton from .haven into SKINREMEDY for an energy clearing and she brought such a beautiful, grounded presence with her (along with some crystals, stones, tuning fork, palo santo, sage, intention setting …the whole peaceful package!🧘🏼‍♀️)

This space holds a lot.
A lot of care.
A lot of stories.
A lot of nervous systems finally exhaling.
A lot of healing, in all the ways that word can mean.

So taking a moment to intentionally clear and refresh the energy felt really special.

Yes- so I am absolutely shaming myself here BUT it is a great teaching moment! (and fellow Esthys- don’t come for me!🫣)

Those of you that know me, know that I am not anti-sun and I completely believe that a regular dose of sunlight is essential to our health (especially before 10am)

HOWEVER,
I will never stand behind burning to a crisp and/or extended sun exposure w/o sun protection of some sort. This is part of the reason that I wear a mineral based SPF every day- to avoid slow accumulative skin damage.

but I’m totally human and I missed more than a few spots today 😵 so please take my learning lesson as a moment to remember to go to your hairline and over the bridge of your nose with your facial SPF everyday (and if you have short hair or your hair is back, hit up the tops of your ears as well)

AND
If you’re in a tank top on the first warm and sunny day of the season, absolutely block those shoulders and especially the decollette.
(ohhhhhh…. The poor decollette😭)
