Cupping Therapy!

What is it?

Cupping therapy is an ancient alternative medicine technique where a practitioner places specialized cups on your skin to create a vacuum-like suction. This suction pulls the skin and subcutaneous tissue upward, which increases local blood circulation, decompresses tight muscle layers, and modulates pain.

How It Works!

Unlike traditional massage therapy, which applies downward pressure to the muscles, cupping utilizes negative pressure to lift and separate tissue layers.

Risks and Side Effects!

The most notable side effect is the appearance of circular red or purple marks. These look like bruises but are actually caused by expanded and broken capillaries just beneath the skin drawing fluid to the surface; they typically fade within a few days to a week. Other potential risks include mild soreness, skin irritation.
