I wanted to share my story piece by piece with you. As I go on my own healing journey from injury and child birth. In the past I beat my body into submission with guilt and shame. Today, I want to learn a new path that leads to joy and peace in my journey instead of punishment. I want to inspire others to learn a different way to achieve body and health goals too.
Today I start with learning to speak kindly to my body and be gentle at the gym.

Gua sha is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves scraping the skin to improve circulation & relieve pain.
The term “gua sha” translates to “scraping sha,” where “sha” refers to the reddish or purple-red petechiae that appear on the skin’s surface after the technique.
A large gua sha tool can be used for lymphatic drainage and massaging the belly, while the smaller stones are typically used for facials or jaw pain relief.
Here at the Celtic Knot Spa, you can enjoy a Gua sha facial or include it in any service as an add-on.
