I quite Esthetics for a few months only to realize this is where I need to be.

I started feeling like I didn't belong in the beauty industry because I needed to have certain values and change. I didn't want to change who I was, so I thought it wasn't for me. This cutthroat industry is full of misguided information by telling people they aren't good enough, so they need to change. It's an industry that can make you feel self-conscious and you are never good enough. But you might be if you just take this cream, pill, or injection.

Then I realized the reason my clients came to me because...

I gave them an inviting environment to express their thoughts, dreams, and nightmares.

I assured them that they ARE amazing and beautiful, and they didn't need any of it.

I didn't treat them like a paycheck.

So, for those reasons, I do believe I have a place in this industry. And I'm coming back because I miss those people who made me laugh (and cry, and laugh cry!). I got so much more from them than a paycheck.

I saw the disappointment from all of you, and it hurt. But I'm not giving up anymore. I am starting again with rebranding myself with a few great women who are a lot like me.
