I love seeing the side by side. An 8 month out growth was so satisfying to refresh.
Her appointment schedule looks something like this:
1 Full | Maintained by a Gloss + Root Melt + Haircut in between at 3-4 months | 1 Partial at 5-8 months | Maintained by a Gloss + Root Melt + Haircut again at 3-4 months
Sam loves icy silvery tones (I love I.V 9,5-11 🤌🏻), but cool shades are one of higher maintenance, so we like to refresh the tone in between.
This is a simple + super effective way to maintain your color beautifully but not be in the salon all the time💖
These moments— the hard work is behind us + I see the joy come across your face when you see your hair. It’s the whole reason I love my career🥹
I’m just a girl…who loves making other girls feel beautiful 💖
If you are interested in becoming a client, I would be honored to hear from you, I am officially accepting new clients ✨

I’m quite the advocate of literally anything that will keep your happy & healthy.
If you enjoy cooler tones, I recommend receiving a gloss (also called glaze or tone) between color touchups to maintain the shade you love.
Our hair fades warm by nature, so a gloss refresh is the perfect way to feel as though you ‘just got your color done,’ with the fraction of time in the salon.
It’s even more important on dark bases because we fight a lot more of that underlying warm tone.
Helpful hint: avoid over-depositing purple shampoo on the hair which will darken your color if used too repeatedly👸🏼
I used Igora Vibrance 9-1 and 9,5-11 with 6vol gel for this. I love Vibrance, it has so many hydrating properties to the line, giving my client’s a treatment while toning💗

Looking for a way to change it up? Using a deep waver can be SUCH a fun way to spice up styling your hair, while keeping it looking polished. Here are a few tips when you’re using a deep waver!
🤎 To avoid it looking poofy: Keep the waver at a *diagonal*. Avoid going in with the iron completely horizontal. This keeps the waves looking soft, laying more organic.
🤎 To make the waves look perfect: With each section, the last ‘dent’ you’ve made in the hair, will be where you are *replacing* the tool to. Not after it, but instead overlapping it. This keeps everything seamless, & is what creates the perfect wave without disruption in the pattern.
🤎 To trick people into thinking it’s natural (😉): The ends of the hair will take shape much quicker than the hair higher on the hair shaft. Avoid overly ‘crimping’ them. Simply pass over them for a few seconds and pull the waver out to give them shape but not too much form. I personally think this makes the style look more natural and believable!
I will post a tutorial soon, but for now I hope these tips help🥰✨
I hope you all have restful Sunday☀️

Partial Lived-In Refresh & Haircut 🤎
I focused on brightening her face frame & adding a few pops through her ends around the front, and kept her natural root. Her natural color goes SO well with her skin tone, and helps anchor the blonde we add. Even though this is a photo of the back you can really see how it gradually gets brighter on the outer corners and seamlessly melts into the dimension from the back sections, really imitating sun-kissed hair☀️😘

Need an idea to help avoid using heat to style your hair? Try sleeping in a neat braid before bed. It’s my go to option to have a textured & little bit undone look.
The key components are to ensure your hair is tangle free, add in a leave in conditioner, and start the braid high enough to give an even wave in the hair so you avoid it looking straight on top, and curly on the bottom. I recommend to start it at the crown of the head.
I also recommend touching up your ends if you have to, so they don’t look too straight. If you have a waver on hand, this would be great, or you can rock a flat iron back and forth to mimic a waver.
Lastly, do NOT comb through with a brush. Just use your fingers, and flip your head upside down to shake out the root. You can be pretty vigorous. This will help with volume & separation, without it looking like you stuck your finger in a light socket (trust me from experience😅🤣).
If it doesn’t turn out, don’t lose hope! Keep at it and you’ll find what works. If it’s helpful I can post a photo of what my hair will look like in a braid before bed as an example.
I hope this helps🪄🤎

Sunkissed locks ✨
This blend is my favorite thing. I love a believable tone that truly looks like the sun could have done it. This was our second session building in a few more pops, still keeping it natural🥰
