Running a studio for all these years, one thing that hasn’t changed is how much we still love creating something new.

And honestly, so many of our ideas don’t just come from us.

Every week, we meet different families. You tell us the colors you love, the themes you’re drawn to, little stories behind your baby’s name, or sometimes just a random idea you’ve been thinking about.

And somehow, those conversations turn into new setups and new inspiration.

That’s one of my favorite parts of this job. Creativity doesn’t always happen when you’re sitting alone trying to come up with something new. A lot of the time, it comes from sharing ideas and building on each other’s thoughts.

So when you come to our studio, you don’t have to choose only from the setups you see in our gallery.

Newborn stage is so, so short.

You don’t even need to wait a few years to realize it.

One day you’re looking at them thinking, how are you almost the same size as my hand? How are you as tiny as the fluffy toy next to you? 🥹

And then somehow, just a couple of months later, they don’t even fit in that little basket anymore.

That’s the crazy thing about babies. You’re living in the moment, so everything feels normal. You don’t realize how quickly it’s changing until it already has.

So many things in life, if you want to do them, just do them.
And if there’s a moment you want to remember, take the photo.

Time doesn’t wait.
Some moments, once they’re gone, you really can’t recreate them. 🤍

This Girl with a Pearl Earring setup has been loved for such a long time. 🤍

We’ve photographed it with newborns, little babies, and sitter babies — and every age gives us something completely different.

Some sleep through the whole thing, some stare at us very seriously, and some already have SO much personality. 😂

But one thing never changes…
those round little baby cheeks with the pearl earring are just too cute. 🥹

You can’t force them to pose a certain way or give you a certain expression.

Keep them comfortable, keep them happy, follow their cues… and somehow, they always give you the best moments. ✨

One of the questions we get asked the most is, “When should we book our newborn session?” 🤍

We usually recommend the first 2 weeks, because babies tend to be sleepier and curl up more naturally.

But honestly, every family is different. Many of our Asian families prefer to wait until the baby’s full month because of tradition, and we’ve photographed newborns anywhere from 1 week to 8 weeks old.

As long as you reach out to us, we’ll always let you know what’s realistic for your baby’s age. We just don’t want anyone to miss this precious newborn stage.
