Healthy Effects Therapeutic Massage

Did you know that when you book a massage service you are not just booking a massage - you are reserving a space and time to offer and support your healing and wellness journey that has specifically tailored to your individual needs. I take utmost care to make sure your session is exactly what you need when you walk through my door at the time. And it truly is my honor to be entrusted with that kind of care.
Did you know that when you are not able to make your appointment and cancel last minute it not only effects me and my small business - I do not earn a salary or hourly wage, I am unable to accrue PTO or sick days. These are all trade offs that I gladly take for the other "benefits" my job does offer to me.
But when you cancel your session "last minute" this also affects other clients who are waiting to get on the schedule and would have gladly been able to fill that now vacant time slot.

With this being said, due to the recent increase in last minute cancellations and late arrivals I have made the difficult decision to start enforcing the Cancellation Policy that I have always had in place.
Going forward, if a session is cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment you will be charged for 50% of the scheduled service.
If a session is cancelled within 12 hours of your scheduled appointment time you will be charged 100% of your scheduled service. The cancellation fee will need to be paid prior to any future appointments being scheduled.
Late Arrivals will end at the original scheduled appointment time and you will be charged for the session time that was scheduled.

I truly believe in giving grace and want to be understanding when life happens - because life happens to me as well. This is not a decision I have come to lightly. I thank you all for taking the time to read and appreciate your understanding.

Just a quick heads up! My office will be closed Wednesday October 22 - Sunday November 2 to attend my daughter’s Marine Corps graduation. And then soak up some cherished minutes with her! I will be returning all messages when I am back in the office on Monday November 3. ❤️❤️❤️

Happy Independence Day!

My office will be closed the remainder of the week to celebrate my daughter and future son in laws wedding! I will be returning all messages early next week.
With the many big life events my family is having over the course of the next few months my schedule is about as maxed out as I can have it.
I will continue to do my very best to accommodate appointments. But I also need to take time to fill my cup and want to be present for the happenings at home which means last minute openings and cancellations will be harder to reschedule and you may have to wait a bit longer. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support!

A new year is upon us! Goals and intentions are being set. The idea of changing habits and self improvement is in the air. What are you most looking forward to in 2025?!?! Wellness is the forefront of what I do - massage means so much more than an hour on a table being pampered.
