I was honored to be invited to speak in my session titled "Self Care" at the conference today in Reidsville, NC. However I dropped the "ball" and did not share what my nail tech Michelle Mitchell had sent me, so I'm sharing it here because it is powerful & she is a beautiful woman inside & out!!

😍Becoming a nail tech for me was about helping woman and here's why, it's much more than just a surface -level luxury for me its the psychology of the manicure more then just polish. Why nail enhancements, manicures is an investment in your mindset just to think it's a luxury it's much more its like missing the entire point, its an act of intentional self care and a proven catalyst for self esteem. Our hands are how we interact with the world we use them to work , to greet other's and to express ourselves THE POWER OF LOOK GOOD FEEL GOOD . nails are a canvas the colors the shapes and the art you choose are a reflection of your mood personality and identity when you look and see a manicured hand its acts as a subtle, constant visual reminder that "You are worth taking care of" it provides an interest boost of confidence and making you feel more polished, put together and ready to take on the day furthermore a nail appointment forces us to do something rare in modern life , it unplugs us for an hr or so . You cant text which most clients still do lol 🤣 no work or rushing its a boundary set against the chaos of everyday life ultimately paying for nails enhancements or nail services isnt just buying pretty nails its buying a moment of peace a spark of joy and a armor of confidence that last for wks. And this is why Nail services are my favorite.😍
