She wanted a soft powder brow & these came out just perfect 👌🏼 This was after the first session & we will wait for 6 weeks to see how they healed before doing her touch/up (perfecting session) so we can see how they healed. Sometimes they want them darker, or some strokes thrown in to deepen the color, it it’s best to wait & see.

The first pictures were taken right before her first session, the after pictures were taken 6 weeks later after the powder healed. Everyone has a different desired outcome. For some, this is all they want. We decide at your touch-up if you’d like them darker/larger/hairstrokes added, etc.

We decided to add some nano hair strokes today to add some more dimension & depth to them. I didn’t want to post the after pics from today, because they look a little darker than they’re going to heal, but I’ll post her finished look in 6 weeks.

I really wanted to show an “After” picture healed after the first session, so you can see that for some clients, this is enough & for others, it will take another session.

When you want perfect brows,,it doesn’t always happen in one session! They move around, lighten 20-30% & most times the touch/up is absolutely necessary & recommended.

I’ve been a licensed Aesthetician since 2000, and in 2014 I took a leap and created Aesthetically Speaking after years of working in salons, spas, plastic surgeons offices, and independently here in Reno.

I never imagined I’d build what I have today—and I’m so grateful for every step that led me here.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of training and mentoring so many incredible aestheticians. The ones who have stayed by my side are truly some of the best in the industry, and this business wouldn’t be what it is without their talent, loyalty, and heart.

I’m a Reno girl, born and raised. Aesthetics is actually my second career—before this, I was an accountant. While it wasn’t my passion, it gave me the foundation to grow a business the right way, and for that I’m thankful.

I was one of the first to bring eyelash extensions to Reno, becoming certified with Xtreme Lashes in 2005. In 2017, I created our own lash line, Alana Davis Artistry, which we proudly use in the salon and offer to other artists.

These days, my true passion is brows & PMU (permanent make-up) There is nothing like watching a transformation happen right in front of you—helping women feel confident, empowered, and beautiful in their own skin.
I took my first microblading certification in 2015 and have continued training with some of the best artists in the country ever since.

I still work closely with my team every day and will continue to do so until the day I pass this business on to them 🤍
