HOLD UP! (wait a minute!) ... this is FOR REAL and blew me away!
Most of my pigmentation is from hormones, but that big round doosey on my temple and the heart-shaped bu**er just under my cheekbone ...those are relics from my convertible days!
Well...I’ve been consistent. I’ve been diligent. I’ve been patient.
And. They’re. Lighter!!!
It takes us years to destroy the beautiful baby skin we’re born with (hopefully some of that damage was done happily...like driving a convertible!). So we need to remember that it takes time to improve and repair that damage!
I’m working on those spots. And I’ll keep working...and protecting.

What I love about my skincare business:
☝🏻A true tribe surrounding me, made up of people that appreciate, want, and support the idea of “work as you want”.
✌🏼The support from high-levels when there seems to be an “ooopsie” ...and not having to tackle it alone!
👌🏽(3) Focusing only on the health of my family when unexpected dr. appointments arise and take 2+ hours. Setting aside the stress of “getting back to the office” is priceless.
👐🏾 I love that I’m part of skincare. I love that I have a team of entrepreneurs alongside me. I love that I can crawl into my warm bed on cold days and get my work done from there.

It’s DAY 1 of Fall break and all I could think this morning was how grateful I am for my amazing J-O-B.
No stress over ☀️rayofZunshine being out of school.
No concern over where she’ll go or how we’ll afford it.
Full ability to choose what we want to do.
No need to put in for time-off.
We just keep because we’re able to

WHY on earth did I say “yes” to Rodan + Fields? That’s what I sat in the sun pondering with my happy pregnant belly 3-years ago (April 2016).
I was unsure, frustrated, scared, and a bit lost.
We were staring down the barrel of a new life -one I wanted and was equally terrified of. We had no idea what it would look like.
Well—I’ll tell you that amidst all the struggles and pain and grief, I’ve never been more grateful for this career.
This world that allows me to feel like I’m contributing to the financial part of our family, like I still have some semblance of that independent creature I was pre-settling-down, while still having the time to Mom the way I want to.
I start our days with patience and love rather than whirlwind.
I say “YES” more often - to her and myself.
I maintain a community of colleagues.
I soak up every break, weekend, and spare moment we get.
I show her that she can do things in many different ways in this life.
3-years ago...What a difference time, life, and choices can make.
I’d love to share my journey with you.
