Every appointment with The Beauty Project Foundation ends with an after-service survey. Not just as a formality. Not just as paperwork. But because we genuinely need to know: is this making a difference?

The answer, in our clients’ own words, is yes.

These surveys exist because accountability matters. Because when someone trusts us with their time, their story, and their self-image, we owe them more than good intentions. We owe them proof that what we’re doing actually works.

Hair is never just hair. It’s confidence. It’s hygiene. It’s how you show up to a job interview, a hard day, or a mirror you’ve been avoiding. Our after-service surveys help us stay honest about whether we’re living up to that.

The Fourth Annual Funkraiser is in the books and our hearts are so full we don’t even know where to start…

You danced, you laughed, you gave, you sparkled (omg those fits were amazing!) and together we raised $12,156 for The Beauty Project Foundation. 🎉

Did we hit our $15,000 goal? Not quite. But honestly? We are so incredibly proud of what this community did last night. Every single dollar represents a haircut, a massage, a facial, a moment where someone gets to feel seen and cared for. That is not nothing. That is everything.

To every person who bought a ticket, donated, shared a post, showed up in sequins, got a chair massage, bid on a silent auction item, ate a taco, watched Braighlee paint, danced with Vertigo and Armani The Star, and stayed until the very end ..

Lana is a vibrant and passionate hairstylist who has been serving the Reno area with warmth, creativity, and intention since 2020. Known for her welcoming energy and dedication to helping every client feel seen and celebrated.

Lana is a gender-affirming specialist with a love for transformational hairstyling. She’s Curl Cult certified, making her a perming machine and a go-to artist for clients looking to embrace texture, depth, and unique style. In her chair, you can expect a safe, affirming space where your truest self is the guide for every service.

Her favorite services include perms, vivid colors, gender-affirming services, wedding styling, and vintage hairstyling, all delivered with her signature warm, uplifting presence. Lana offers services including:
