Amalia Rauch is a hairstylist and energetic healer living in Reno, NV. She specializes in naturally wavy/curly hair, rainbow haircolor, vintage inspired haircuts, and balayage. She believes that hair has its own energy. It is located within our crown chakra, the place where we draw our cosmic energy from. It also help unite us with each other and nature. Over the span of history, it has been shown that many cultures did not believe in cutting their hair. Like antennae, it was believed that hair heightened the senses and an extension of the nervous system. Amalia approaches each hair service as a chance to release energy that no longer serves you and set intentions to bring what you desire into fruition. She is trained in hair balancing, a method of healing hair that applies sacred geometry principles to her technical haircutting skills. She also use meditation and crystal therapy to amplify your healing session.

When my aunt died I listened to I Will Always Love You on repeat. Then as I began to heal, River of Happiness became my beacon in the night. So many songs that could be chapter titles in the book of my life.
I went to Dollywood some years ago and she made a surprise appearance. Tears flooded from my eyes which is soooo unlike me in public. I'm sure the crash from sugar and fried food didn't help any but I was so damn awestruck.
Through the hard times she was a guiding angel for so many of us and I know she always will be. I hope our Queen is resting comfy in cotton. 💕

We've been coloring this babe's hair with black for years now! I was so excited to use all of my hair alchemy skills to craft a new color vibe that wouldn't be extremely difficult to achieve.
Enter a good grow out period leaving us all natural roots to play with. In a few sessions we'll be able to cut the black tips of her halo off and then the sky is really the limit.
Colored using my go-to line for vivids in the salon.

Creative color is one of my true passions behind the chair✨
The energetic power that lies in true expression fuels me. I feel like an artist and a wizard all wrapped up with a scientist bow.
Moving suites has been a fabulous time for me to reconnect with what I enjoy and what I am ready to leave behind.
I am no longer accepting grey touch up clients and have cleared this service a bit from my current schedule to make time for creative color. I'll go in depth more soon but at the end of the day it truly is as simple as creating space to say yes to things that fuel my soul 🎨

Welcome to the newest iteration of The Healing Hairstylist 💕
To fully move out of one space and into the other in the span of 48 hours is crazy, but I guess that's just the way I roll! There are a few more finishing touches to add and I'm sure the space will evolve with us as I get used to this new space. I'm dead tired but my soul is charged up with creative energy.
Thank you for taking this wild ride with me and I can't wait for some everyone to see this lil healing oasis in person!
