Push Ups are a great exercise that requires no equipment or gym membership to get started. There are numerous variations of push ups, starting from modified push ups on your knees for beginners to one-arm push ups for the more advanced athlete. Push Ups work your upper body, including your: chest, back, arms, shoulders, triceps, legs and neck. Push Ups are done in the Prone position, increasing core strength and help to promote good posture. Push Ups also help to increase muscular and bone strength, helping to decrease the chance of osteoporosis.
