Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. What are you gonna wear on your nails?

Some fun 4th of July nails…. Bomb pop anyone??

I have a lot of new followers so I thought it’s time for a “Meet the Baker” post. I’m Jamie, the CEO, CFO, Baker, decorator, marketing manager, social media manager, accountant, purchasing manager and general madwoman behind The Cookie Caper.

Here are 10 things about me (if you care 🤣)…

1. I hate pictures and you will have a hard time finding them of me (so this is sort of a big deal for me to post this 🤣)

2. I baked my first sugar cookie in February 2020 and it kinda went a little crazy from there. The first ones weren’t really that cute. 🙈

3. Cookies are a part-time, side gig for me. I work full-time as a sales manager for a nail company. Yep, as in fingernails! 💅🏻 I also have a bachelors degree in Chemistry 👩🏻‍🔬(bonus fact).

4. I hardly ever have my nails done except for when I travel for work. 🤣 They are a pain when decorating. 🤷🏻‍♀️

5. I have 2 rescue pups, Brady (German Shepherd) and Bane (hound mutt), who have probably “greeted” you from the window if you’ve picked up. (😬 sorry!). They are my world but rest assured they absolutely do NOT help with any baking.

6. Furthermore I’m probably what some would be considered a crazy dog lady. I volunteer in dog rescue and try to foster when I can (which isn’t enough). I definitely prefer dogs to humans. 🐶

7. I’m a washashore. I was born and raised in PA and have been on the Cape for about 7 years now. 🌊

8. I hate seafood. 🍤🤮

9. I’m the middle of 5 children. (And I act like it).

10. I’m a Coke Zero Cherry addict but I do not drink coffee. Coffee is gross. ☕️🤮

I never imagined that I’d grow as big as I have in only a year and I really appreciate all of you for the support and for letting me be part of your special events!

Cheers!
