Update on my mom- Day 17
The one culture is FINALLY back after days of waiting to see if something would grow to be identified. And it is confirmed to be blasto...
She is starting the correct kind of antibiotics now and should start to feel better, however with the antibiotics could come with kidney problems. But they need to start proper treatment quickly and effectively.
But this is going to be a very very long road of treatment and recovery. Potentially 6-12 months to feel back to normal.
Update on Sheila...
Today is day 4 at the Rhinelander hospital. She has not shown much sign of improvement with many kinds of antibiotics. They are now sending her to Wausau to have a lung biopsy and have more specialty Care by a pulmonologist.
I am doing my best to stay strong and positive and be a good mother. But this whole situation is draining me mentally and physically beyond belief..
I will do my best to reach out to everyone with upcoming appts but unfortunately we are now making the decision that The Magician Beautician (ONLY appts with Sheila) will be closed until the new year..
***Any appointments with Dayna and/or Jennine will still continue as normal***
I am still healing and Sheila has a long road of recovery there is no way either of us can work at this point in time.. we do have Jennine who is willing to help where she can a few other names of people who may be able to accommodate.
I am so sorry for the inconvenience especially before the holidays but we don't have much choice at this point..
Please please please say big prayers for Sheila 🙏🏼❤️🤞🏼🙏🏼❤️😭

Hi everyone,
Callie here..
A little update on Sheila... Along with a photo of the most beautiful girl in the world! ❤️
Sheila has now been hospitalized as she was not doing better with medication and such at home after 10 days. Her vitals were incredibly high. So for now she is getting some extra TLC at the hospital... My heart breaks with this whole situation. My mom has never been in the hospital other than when she had me and now she is there all alone.. my incredibly wild emotions make the days very difficult to not just cry all the time..
But as for future appts this month. I don't know when Sheila will safely be able to return to work now at this point. She has a very long road to recovery and her first priority when feeling better is to FINALLY meet her precious grandbaby...
I will personally reach out to people about appts to come up with options.

Hey everyone,
Callie here..
When it rains .. it pours.. after being mentally and physically exhausted from child birth and healing.. we are dealt another struggle. Sheila has recently become very sick and now has pneumonia very badly. She still has not yet even met our baby girl we her sickness developed right around the time of her birth. It is such a struggle and breaks both out hearts as I can't help her and she can not help me...
She currently has all the work stuff and it doing her best to reach out to people about getting rescheduled. But she is exhausted and doing her best we just completing the simplest of tasks .. like just trying to breath.
So just wanted to make everyone aware now that some or many appts will need to be moved depending on how she feels. But right now she is honestly the sickest she has ever been. And it breaks my heart on so many levels.. 😭💔🙏🏼
Please pray for her... I'm so scared for her and all I want is my momma right now 😭

Introducing… drumroll please 🥁…
✨ Our precious girl — Journee Lennin ❤️ ✨
She made her grand entrance Sunday November 23rd at 3:41 pm, weighing 6 lbs 8 oz and measuring 19.5 inches of pure perfection!!
Her name couldn’t be more fitting, because this entire pregnancy and delivery was nothing short of a Journey!
From the excitement of that very first positive test (and all those lovely first-trimester symptoms), to discovering I had placenta previa and having to navigate all the fears and challenges that came with it… to finally accepting I’d almost certainly need a C-section. And then—right at the end of the third trimester—being cleared for a normal vaginal delivery! I was over the moon and completely shifted my mindset and birth plan. I couldn’t wait to labor and (hopefully!) have an easier recovery.
But little did I know… I’d end up experiencing both.
Sunday was the longest day of my life. Running on barely 2 hours of sleep, I labored for hours, made it to 10 cm, and started pushing… only to learn baby girl wasn’t tolerating it well. Her heart was telling us this wasn’t the right path. My team gently but urgently said we needed to go to a C-section to get her here safely. I was shocked, overwhelmed—such an emotional rollercoaster—but none of it mattered once I knew that was how I would finally meet our girl.
So off we went… and then she was here. ✨
She is beyond beautiful and absolutely healthy. My heart could burst.
As for me—I am sore, exhausted, and healing in every sense of the word. But I’m learning, resting when I can, and getting to know this brand-new version of myself… a mother.
Daddy and I are so excited to begin life as a family of three with our sweet girl. 💗🌸

Hello everyone,
Callie here!
For those who have been wondering — yes, I’m still pregnant, and yes, we are doing very well.
Today marks 39 weeks, and we’re eagerly anticipating our sweet girl’s arrival any day now. My body is progressing just as it should, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been cleared for a normal vaginal delivery. Now we simply wait for her to decide when she’s ready to meet the world 🙌🏼💕
I’m incredibly grateful for the time I’ve had off before her arrival — it has allowed me to prepare, rest, and give our fur babies some extra love!!
The next update you receive will be our big announcement 💕

Hey everyone! Sheila here!
Bare with me as I've never been the one in charge of the phone.. let alone making posts!
Just wanted to continue to post and keep everyone in the loop of some beautiful fall hair we recently did!
As well as a Callie update... its only been 1 week without her at the salon and it feels so empty! We all miss her. But she is doing well, resting and getting everything set for baby girls arrival! 🥰🍼
