Before you buy a box of hair color from the drugstore consider these facts. Yes, the model on the box looks stunning with the hair color you have just chosen but her hair was colored and styled by a professional hairstylist, who used not only the color in the box but most probably added highlights and lowlights to it. You’re not going to get the same result with that box at your kitchen sink.

The box color does not contain the same ingredients as what the professionals use in a salon. Box color is generally metallic based, ours is botanical based, there is nothing in our hair color that is carcinogenic.

Using any type of box color for a quick fix compromises the integrity of the hair. Yes, it may look OK once it’s done but because of the ingredients it will fade to a greenish hue. A professional hair color done on top of that is now also compromised because of the chemical reaction with the metallic based color. Also the metallic base of that color dries out your hair to a crisp. So is your $7.00 quick fix really worth it?
