🌿 Announcement to all guests of Ivy's Beauty Bar 🌿

I will be out of the salon starting today May 20th-26th, somewhere between Key West and the Bahamas soaking up some sunshine and enjoying an ocean view for the first time!! 🌞🌊 All messages will be responded to ASAP starting May 27th when back on dry land. Thank you for your patience until then!

Before setting sail I wanted to pop online to bring up a few things that have been weighing heavy on my heart for quite some time now.. Everyone who truly knows me knows how much I simply do not enjoy using social media. But I never anticipated my online presence to be essentially non-existent, especially after opening my dream business and beauty suite shortly after. Complete transparency here- simply put I am burnt out.

Since moving locations into the Whispering Willow Beauty Lounge I have been struggling with mass amounts of no-show/last minute appointment changes and cancellations. Being a one-woman small business these cancellations have hit me much harder than I would like to admit and have unfortunately forced me to take a massive step back and re-evaluate how rules must be enforced in order to keep my doors open.

As always a huge thank you to everyone for your continued support. Taking the time out of your day to sit in my chair and allowing me to express my creativity means more than I could ever express, so again THANK YOU!!

I thought it was time I officially introduce myself for everyone here on the Whispering Willow page. Hi! I'm Ivy and I am proud owner of Ivy’s Beauty Bar LLC, newly located inside Whispering Willow Beauty Lounge! 😊

I was born & raised in Rice Lake WI. I have lived here all of my life minus my venture to Minneapolis, where i recieved my Cosmetology education at the Aveda Institute. Other than my passion for cosmetology I also love all things involving plants, any artsy activity, and Wisco Summer sunshine!

Now with almost 5 years of experience in the industry I specialize in lived in color/blonding, and brow & lash styling- waxing, lifting, and tinting. I truly pride myself in creating custom results for each client that will realistically work for them and their lifestyle.
