This is what three months of consistency can do! This client got hit with cystic acne seemingly out of nowhere last year and it just seemed to keep getting worse no matter what she tried. We scrapped everything and started over with Face Reality in February. She stuck to her plan and here we are, three months later, almost completely clear! She is well on her way to saying goodbye to acne for good!

She has struggled with combination inflamed and noninflamed acne for many years, and enough was finally enough so we embarked on a journey to get it gone for good. This is what happens when you follow the protocol to the letter!

Picture 1: taken today! Not a single inflamed acne in sight! We are still working on her noninflamed acne, but there has been significant progress made!

Picture 2: taken in August. Ah, the purge. This is totally normal, and NEEDED! It’s gotta come out. During this phase, we did an Acne Peel every two weeks, she followed her protocol and we powered through it!

Picture 3: taken in July. Day One! Inflamed and noninflamed acne was fully present, and had no idea what was coming for it!

Nothing is more satisfying that freshly cleaned out clogged sebaceous filaments, but if you don’t follow up with proper home care, they will come back in 30 days or less. So what can you do?

🪩 keep pores clear of dirt, oil and debris by washing your face daily and following up with a salicylic acid toner. This will break up the gunk before it can clog your pores.
🪩 incorporate retinol into your nighttime routine to help regulate oil production and do not forget to moisturize! Drying your skin out will only lead to more oil production. Not the goal!
🪩 come in monthly for a facial! It is much easier to keep your pores clear once a professional has already started the process for you!
