A year ago today I made a decision to step outside the box yet again. Can’t believe it was a year ago! Started at Aveda Arts on November 14 2022 and graduated July 19 2023. Those 8 months were filled with anxiety, fun, learning, long days, great days, not so good ones, new and unexpected friends and a new life-long career at the end. So many boxes checked on what I had always wanted - creativity, my own boss, my own business, working with people and making a difference, and bonus, apprenticing and working with the boo.

Here’s me on the first day! I feel like I look a little apprehensive 😂. I made Paul drive me to school that morning and pick me up - I was too nervous.
