WEEKLY EMAIL: Product of The Month/Weekly Winner and More!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! It was so beautiful! It went by way too fast!!!! Saturday morning I cleaned (finally lol) and then had a pool party down in Oak Creek with my cousin. We hadn’t all seen each other since Christmas and while we couldn’t all make it was 5 of us were able to hang out. We always have such a blast together!

Just a few things to talk about this week.

I have disabled my online store for order product. The company I had it through (SSG) has a store in Germantown. (Same concept as the one I work at, just sells different products). Unfortunately they made the decision to charge us as stylist to shop there. If we walk into the store and make a purchase we are charged a fee. It’s not much, but just the fact that they are charging us a fee to shop there is absolutely insane. Because of this I will not be doing business with them. I didn’t really need much there anyway, but I just cannot support a company that will charge us stylist to shop in store. The fee was basically to cover their cost to operate the store and carry products in the store. Their prices are more expensive than normal as they add 10% onto their prices we as stylist pay and I had to pay a yearly fee for the online store as well. If you ordered product from there let me know and I can recommend something else.

I am going to start doing a product of the month. Each month will be a different one and that product will be 20% off that whole month. We are starting with The Gentle Shampoo ($28 with discount). I have included information about the shampoo down at the bottom of this email. Please let me know by every Friday if there is anything you need and I will get it for you ASAP. Products are prepay only.

It is National Nail Polish Day!!!! I actually had no idea but I’m at CosmoProf right now and the district manager put out something across our store chat about it. These national day things are so weird but kinda fun at the same time. To celebrate that, I have one open next week Thursday at 7pm for a cut and color. The first person to text me to book the appointment will get a OPI nail kit.

As of right now I don’t have anything open this week. I have a funeral to go to now in Door County for a couple days. I was supposed to go racing this week but will be staying home to make up time at the salon and the store. I will put out an email if anything changes.

Congratulations to Robyn Rathe for winning the weekly drawing last week and to Rebecca Hannemann for winning the monthly drawing. For the monthly drawing I do a larger prize and get it from a more local business to support the small ones like me 😊

As of right now I don’t have any opening this week. I have to go to Door Co tomorrow for a couple days for a funeral. I was supposed to be racing this weekend but I am now staying home to make up hours at the salon and store. If anything changes I will sent out an email.

On a good note!!! My color cabinet is finally put together!!!! Dave came after we were done working last Friday. He put together while I supervised with wine 🤣
