Kenmore Construction plans to OPEN the IR77 SB Exit Ramp to Ghent Rd as well as the Ghent Rd to IR77 SB Entrance Ramp beginning Monday, May 18th, 2026.
At this time, the Contractor will subsequently CLOSE the IR77 NB to Ghent Rd ramp for a period of 60-days. The detour for this closure will be SR18 to Cleveland-Massillon Rd to Ghent Rd.
As well, The Contractor will CLOSE the Ghent Rd on Ramp to IR77 for a period of 45-days. The detour for this closure will be Cleveland Massillon Rd to flip at the SR18 Cloverleaf interchange.

In short, beginning Monday May 18th, the SB IR77 Ramps at Ghent Rd will be opened and the NB IR77 Ramps will be closed.

FYI ..

There will be temporary lane closures on SR 303 below SR 77 tomorrow morning, Friday, November 21, 2025. Work is expected to be between 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM to perform pavement repairs on the shoulders. Both directions of travel will be open and be maintained by flaggers.

TRAFFIC ALERT: The ramp from Ghent Rd to Interstate 77 southbound will be closed by Ohio Department of Transportation - Akron / Canton District 4 starting this Monday, October 27 until July of next year during the construction in Bath Township. Detour signs will be posted.

SR 21 southbound to I-77 southbound ramp is closed again 10/8/2025. An update will be posted when it is back open again.
