Vida Amor
A Quiet, Calm, and Serene atmosphere offering High Quality Massage Therapy. Stretch Therapy. Cold Exposure. TRI CITIES FIRST COLD PLUNGE FACILITATORđ§
To our incredible clients,
As many of you know, we are beginning a new chapter and preparing to close this season of our business. While weâre excited for what lies ahead, saying goodbye is not easy.
Over the years, many of you became so much more than clients. You became friends, family, and a part of our lives. Weâve celebrated victories with you, supported you through challenges, watched families grow, and shared countless meaningful conversations. The trust youâve placed in us has been one of the greatest gifts of our lives.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your healing, your wellness journey, and your story. Thank you for your loyalty, your kindness, your referrals, your laughter, and your support through the years.
While our doors may be closing, the relationships and memories weâve built will stay with us forever. We are deeply grateful for every single one of you.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of the Vida Amor family. We love and appreciate you more than words can express.
With that being said we will continue to fulfill reoccurring appointments up until we canât-and will no longer be taking new clients. We will continue to update you as we can.
With endless gratitude,
Jessica & Mannyđ¤đ¤
If I had to give advice to someone trying massage for the first time, hereâs what Iâd say đ¤
Just do it.Your body isnât âtoo muchâ of anything⌠not too tight, not too sensitive, not too far gone. Not too big, small, odd shaped. Itâs actually doing its best to communicate with youâand itâs worthy of care exactly as it is.
Give your Therapist a real chance.
Try them 2â3 times. Your body needs time to build trust, unwind patterns, and feel safe enough to let go. If it still doesnât feel aligned after that, thatâs okayâfind someone who does. But donât give up on your body in the process.
Breathe.
Your breath is everything. It sends oxygen to every single cell, helps your nervous system shift out of survival mode, and creates space where tension used to live. Slow inhales, longer exhales⌠let your body soften instead of bracing.
Ask questions.
Nothing is weird or off limits. This is your body, your experience. And yesâsensations youâve never felt before will happen. Tingling, emotional releases, warmth, even unexpected soreness⌠itâs your body processing, reconnecting, and sometimes unwinding things that have been stored for a long time.
Massage isnât just about âfixing pain.âItâs about learning your bodyâs language⌠and finally listening to it. You deserve this.
If youâve been thinking about itâthis is your sign đ¤ and if you as my client have any advice to someone trying my massage for the first time, please leave it in comments! Iâd love to hear your thoughts!
When you come in like thisâŚ
We slow everything down.
Because itâs not just your musclesâitâs your nervous system asking for a moment to feel safe again.
And here⌠it gets to đ¤
My opinion: youâre going to find the best Massage Therapistâs working from home!
Why?
Because when someone is truly in this field to make a difference in peopleâs lives, they build something more personal⌠more intentional.
Home studios arenât rushed.
Theyâre not corporate.
Theyâre curated for YOU.
Youâre getting someone who chose this path â not just clocking in.
More presence.
More care.
More connection.
And your nervous system can feel the difference.
⨠This is where real work happens.
(And yes⌠itâs a little more intimate, a little more real â and thatâs the point đ¤)
âJess, youâre so knowledgeable⌠why donât you make educational videos?!â
Me: trying to figure out where to look on the camera while saying âhiâ like a normal human đŤ
Truth is⌠this business was built on real people, real results, and word of mouthânot algorithms.
But if you happen to find me on here, welcome đ¤
I may be awkward on camera⌠but Iâm very good at what I do.
If youâve been living with chronic pain for yearsâ
I got you.
Our recommendations are just that..
-Recommendations-
Yes, they may come from an educational and loving placeâŚ
but they are never a requirement to keep seeing us.đŤś
â¨Weâre not here to assign homework.
Weâre here to help your body feel better.â¨
We chose this work because we genuinely love holding space for people and sharing what weâve learned about easing chronic pain, unwinding stress, and helping the body remember how to relax again.
Will we suggest stretches?
Hydration?
Maybe a pillow adjustment or two?
â¨â¨Of course.â¨â¨
But we also know something important:
â¨Youâll use our advice when youâre ready.â¨
Until then⌠weâll be right here
working on those knots you definitely donât have
in the shoulders you totally didnât sleep on funny
from the stress youâre absolutely not carrying. With the water you definitely drank and those stretches youâve definitely put in that routine đđ¤Ł
Healing isnât about perfection.
Itâs about support.â¨
And thatâs what weâre here for. đżđ¤đŤś
10 Things We Wish People Knew About Massage:
1. Your body deserves care even when youâre not in pain.
You donât have to âearnâ rest or wait until something hurts to take care of yourself.
2. Being touched with intention can be deeply healing.
For many people, a massage is the only time all week someone cares for them without asking anything in return.
3. Your body has carried you through more than you give it credit for.
Stress, work, parenting, grief, injuries... massage is sometimes the first moment it gets to exhale.
4. Relaxation is not a luxury. Itâs a biological need.
Your nervous system literally repairs itself when it feels safe enough to soften.
5. You are allowed to slow down.
The world moves fast, but your body heals in stillness.
6. Sometimes the most powerful moment of a session is silence.
Not every healing moment needs words.
7. Your body remembers kindness.
Gentle, mindful touch can remind it that itâs safe again.
8. You donât have to hold everything together here.
If you sigh, cry, fall asleep, or just breathe deeper than you have all week â thatâs okay. Your body is allowed to let go.
9. Healing doesnât always look dramatic.
Sometimes itâs just your shoulders dropping half an inch, your breath slowing down, and your nervous system remembering what calm feels like.
10. Massage is not just about muscles â itâs about being human.
Being cared for, being listened to without words, and being reminded that your body deserves kindness too.
Holding Space for you to let go of all of lifeâs weight, is what we do best. You donât have to justify why youâre here. We want you here. We want you to feel safe to let go.
