Bellevue Blends is a small in-home company based in Richmond, Virginia with the idea of ‘blending it all’ from health, home, kitchen, and pet needs. The idea is to have simple goods in a one-stop shoppe, but more importantly, blending the best products with scents of essential oils, spices, and herbs sourced as locally as possible. Products will include: salt scrubs, sugar scrubs, body butter, bat
h bombs, soy candles, spiced meat rubs, and pet remedies. My little family has settled down in this beautiful, quaint neighborhood in Northside Richmond known as ‘Bellevue.’ It is (arguably) hands down-the best hidden gem in Richmond with so much to offer. The second part of the name ‘Blends’ comes from the idea of giving to all aspects of life- health, beauty, home, kitchen, and pet needs. My goal is to integrate blends of a variety of ingredients from oils to herbs to spices and more. I work per diem as a Registered Nurse and full time mom to a beautiful toddler boy, handsome husband, and fur ball family that consists consisting of a sweet black lab and crazy calico kitty. When I’m not working in the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my family. However, I recently have been searching for what gives me a different purpose. What lifts that heavy weight off of my shoulders after a long day of caring for others, not to mention more recently, the stress of this pandemic? I truly believe this is my why! Self care is something I honestly enjoy. We all need it more than we know! This tug in my heart has always been there, but was never ‘realistic’ for some reason. The risk? Maybe. Judgment? Of course. I normally just tucked all these feelings away and threw my efforts into the holidays when I had longer periods off work making bath bombs, scrubs, spiced meat rubs, dog treats, and other homemade things as gifts for family and close friends. So here I am! Moving forward, making time, and going for it! I’d greatly appreciate your business, but most of all- please take care of yourself with all the ‘blending’ you need in life to make things work for YOU. My strive is not only to be creative, but enjoy this new journey as well. (I’m also open it all the suggestions and feedback as well!)
