Just a friendly reminder that we’ve welcomed a couple of new faces to the Cedar & Sage family. 🤍

Ashley and Kayla are our newest licensed massage therapists, and we couldn’t be happier to have them on our team. Ashley has already been with us for a few months, and Kayla recently joined us a few weeks ago. Both are incredibly talented, kind, and such wonderful additions to our Cedar & Sage family.

We’ve been introducing them to clients as appointments overlap, but if you happen to see either of them around the office, don’t be shy—say hello! We’d love for you to get to know them, and we know they’ll be happy to meet you too.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing more about Ashley and Kayla, including their specialties and full bios on our website so you can learn a little more about each of them.

Our Cedar & Sage family continues to grow, and we’re so grateful for every person who is part of this journey with us.

We’ve had so many people reaching out lately with questions about lymphatic massage that I wanted to answer a few of the most common ones.

First… what is lymphatic massage?

Your lymphatic system is one of your body’s natural waste-removal systems. It helps move excess fluid, supports your immune system, and keeps lymph moving through your body. Unlike your heart, it doesn’t have a pump—it relies on movement, breathing, and gentle stimulation.

So who is it for?

Almost anyone can benefit, especially if you’re dealing with swelling, inflammation, feeling puffy or sluggish, recovering after surgery, or simply wanting to support your overall wellness.

Another question we hear all the time is, “How long should I book?”

For a full-body lymphatic massage, I recommend at least 75 minutes, with 90 minutes being ideal. But don’t worry—we can still make meaningful progress in a 45- or 60-minute session by focusing on the areas that need the most attention.

One thing that surprises people is how gentle it is. This isn’t deep tissue. The lymphatic vessels sit just beneath the skin, so light, slow, rhythmic pressure is exactly what your lymphatic system responds to.

If you’re curious about lymphatic massage, we’d love to help! Book your appointment online, and we’ll help you choose the session that’s right for you.

And be sure to follow us—we’ll be sharing simple things you can do at home to help support your lymphatic system between appointments.
