I’m just going to be really candid for a second.
First, a public apology for anyone who’s messaged/tried to book with me/etc. I have had a really hard time for the last year struggling with my mental health. There isn’t anyone to blame, or any one specific thing that caused this. If you’ve spent any time with me we’ve probably talked about some of the background here.

Some information for your “What is permanent makeup? And is it REALLY permanent?”

Permanent makeup is cosmetic tattooing. The specialized techniques used for permanent cosmetics are often referred to as “micropigmentation”, etc. The cosmetic implantation technique deposits colored pigment into the upper reticular layer of the dermis. Just a bunch of fancy words for the first few layers of your skin.
As far as permanency, Permanent cosmetics procedures are considered permanent because pigment is tattooed into the upper reticular part of the dermal layer of the skin and cannot be washed off. However, as with any tattoo or colorant (pigment) in general, fading can and often does occur, requiring periodic maintenance referred to as color re-enhancement or color refreshing. Longevity also varies from person to person depending on their life style (sun exposure), the color(s) used for the permanent cosmetic procedure, and are also thought to be affected by topical products applied to the skin.
