Something about this weekend had me reflecting on the women behind the bride. 🤍

The moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, aunties, and mother figures who helped shape the day long before anyone walked down the aisle. The ones calming nerves, fixing veils, wiping tears, and holding everyone together.

One of the most special parts of my job is getting to spend time with these women in my chair. So many tell me they “never wear makeup” or just want to feel like themselves again… and watching that confidence come back is everything to me.

Mature skin is beautiful. My goal is never to cover that up, but to honor it and help them feel radiant, comfortable, and truly seen on such an important day.

After Mother’s Day, I’m feeling especially grateful for every mom and grandmother I’ve had the honor of glamming over the years. These moments mean so much to me. 🤍

I had an absolute blast with my girls and at the Award Ceremony earlier this month!! It was surreal to be nominated for rising star Makeup Artist and for my girls to be nominated for rising star hair stylist and Best fashion photographer! The energy was electric and the support for one another was truly inspiring. I met so many talented and inspiring artists!!! I'll cherish this moment forever! Thank you to the community for recognizing our work! I love you all!!!

This wedding was a true collaboration of artists—intentionally planned, deeply personal, and full of joy. From start to finish, it was about expression, history, and love. Huge gratitude to Melissa for bringing this vision to life so thoughtfully, and to the iconic for holding such a meaningful, creative celebration.

My bride and her husband are singer-songwriters, and she literally sang while walking down the aisle. We did makeup upstairs in their loft, where she transformed her music room into the most soulful bridal suite—framed photos of her parents’ wedding, her in-laws’ wedding, and even framed the cover from me and work. That level of love and support made me cry.
