the moment that jump started my career - 10 years ago today [check out those side burns!] I was a finalist in Matrix’s Spread The Love campaign. I was up bright and early for an all expenses paid trip to NYC where I’d meet the 24 other finalists for a weekend of education and interviews lead by the CEO’s of the Matrix. In between interviews and shots for our ~online reality series~ we were able to explore the city and bond with one another - ultimately I was 1st runner up but met Ashley and Courtney who later toured RVA as part of the contest and introduced me to the salon I first started out at 💚
