Mostly just came to say “hi, hello, I’m 32 weeks pregnant and my absence has been absolutely necessary for my own sanity!”
I don’t know if I ever made a formal announcement here about this new little beam that’s going to be joining us soon, and my capacity is at its lowest point regarding any sort of urgency surrounding my response time, social media presence and independent business life.
I am sorry if you’ve felt that I have neglected to reply or follow through on an appointment, turns out raising a toddler AND building a new life from scratch while also trying to keep my own body sustained is really fu***ng hard. Weird!
I’m just trying to make sure the clothes we’ve got on don’t smell like mildew and that I’ve eaten protein (🙄) every two hours…
I’m taking a few haircuts a day on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of September at Main Street Barber RVA 💜 my schedule is on their square website and will be kept accurate, you can also always call the shop for any updates.
My vague plan with my baby leave depends on the timing of birth BUT I do anticipate tip-toeing back in and taking a few appts around the holidays near the end of the year.
Still evolving 🪺🌿🌞 I have so much love for the world and all you people, my actions are never malicious or thoughtless - I’m just doing the best I can in the era I am in.

To all the hair I never got around to hard posting, or even taking photos of in the first place… I LOVE YOU ❤️🔥
My dynamic (and interest and sustainability) with social media has shifted drastically over the last few years, but my love and inspiration for you all as humans I get to interact with in person through touch and emotion has grown exponentially.
In the age of AI and isolation with smart technology I have found my anxiety around creation prevents me from creating (who would’ve thunk…!?).
So I put the camera down, I cut time out of my appointments to be able to see more humans face to face rather than take a 10 minute ring light photoshoot. My phone storage will never forgive me for the years of data consumed by your beautiful hair living in my photo albums -haha…
So, here are a few lovely faces I wanted to make sure found their way to this page. Not so much as a portfolio of the kind of work I do, but more of a collage of loving and heartfelt moments we got to share through the craft of barbering.
