I’ll never be a makeup artist that tries to force you to put value on something you simply don’t, but that doesn’t mean that working makeup artists don’t deserve to charge a)what we’re worth and b)what we need to make a livable wage. For a lot of us, this isn’t a “side gig” or “little hobby.” It’s a 24/7 job that requires a heavy mental and financial load.

I could go on and on about the reasons why a professional makeup artist is worth it for your wedding day, but I won’t try to convince people that don’t see the value. I’m here for the ones who prioritize it. I’m not here to “scam you” or charge “an arm and a leg.” I’m here for an investment that reflects professionalism, talent, experience, and all the things behind a business that you can’t see🩷I’d also like to be able to keep a roof over my head and have food for my babies (dogs).
