Why your silk press might not give “SILKY”

1. You’re not starting with a detoxifying shampoo. In order to have a free flowing press, the hair has to be CLEAN. Make sure to shampoo thoroughly before blow drying / pressing.

2. You may not be using the right products. I like to layer my products for best results. Be sure to use a leave in AND a heat protectant before flat ironing or blow drying.

3. You’re not trimming your clients ends!!!! TRIM TRIM TRIM! Makes all the difference for a finished, sleek, sealed silk press. Dead ends keep the hair from its fullest potential.
