I’ve seen all the fabulous looks from the Met Gala and the actors all get mentioned on best/worst dressed lists. Two of my favorites from the night are both from the finance world and I haven’t seen them mentioned anywhere. Wendi Murdoch looks beautiful in this really well done pastel and black balance of art and fashion. Amy Griffin may have my favorite look of the night. This red gown is ELITE.

I’m sad to say goodbye to the Valient Lady but it was an amazing adventure that will never forget. Travel is so important—so much to see and do and people to meet, all of which have something to teach you!

Two more days here in San Juan to relax a bit and then it’s back to the real world.

Tonight was the night I needed to have! Sat at the bar at Caleta Cafe in San Juan at the recommendation of a tour guide to have this wine! A Listan Blanc—one of the most interesting whites I’ve ever enjoyed. A beautiful beet carpaccio with a goat cheese crema and gazpacho as recommended by the lovely bartender and perfectly wonderful company from my new friends I met sitting next to me. Truly, a perfect few hours in the midst of what was already a wonderful few days exploring old San Juan! Pro tip:Don’t be afraid to travel alone! It’s a wonderful time to recharge your social batteries and a great opportunity to meet new interesting people!
