🚨 LET’S TALK INGROWNS… because THIS is what we mean! 👀
Ingrown hairs aren’t always just one little bump. When you look closely, you can see multiple hairs that have become trapped beneath the skin, curved/looped hairs, small raised bumps, redness/irritation, and little dark or brown spots where previous ingrowns have healed or been picked at. You can also see areas where the hair is trying to break back through the skin but is growing sideways or curling back into the follicle.
And before anybody says, “You just need to exfoliate!” — some people are simply more prone to ingrowns. 🫶🏽
