What an incredibly sad time. This goes beyond freedom of speech. This is bigger than your political views. The internet allows us to see just how evil the world is. Some of the responses have literally taken my breath away. As a parent, I cry for my children. I cry for your children. We live in a world where people are so filled with hurt, anger, pain, and ego. Broken people are everywhere. Walking around unhealed. Becoming parents who are unhealed. Continuing the cycle of hate. As a society, we are lacking community and empathy. The Bible says a lot. And it’s often interpreted so differently. But what it comes down to, Jesus tells us to do ONE thing. One SIMPLE thing. It is to love each other. And yet, we find every excuse not to do just that. We divide each other. We pick sides. We harm each other and then justify our actions. An eye for an eye, leaves the whole world blind. When people reveal the hate they carry in their hearts. Pray for them. Don’t argue with them. Just pray for them.

We tried to do the math the other day and, apparently, I’ve given over 11,000 SKIN TREATMENTS!!! Sometimes I think I should spend more time on social media, but instead, I spend my time hands on. So if I’m quiet, just know, I still exist. I’m just in my happy place, doing what I do best. I remember being in my 20’s and 30s, afraid to admit I knew what I was talking about when it comes to skin. When I enrolled in a Holistic Skin School, I downplayed my knowledge because I got nervous when staff and students were shocked I already knew the information. I thought, surely, they’re going to hate me. That wasn’t the case. And yet, for some reason, I continued to downplay how much I knew, and how I had an intuitive understanding of what skin needs. Now, many years later, after putting in the time, work, research, and constant continuing education… I no longer hesitate. I know what I’m talking about. I know what I’m doing. I get excited when someone walks into my studio feeling defeated because they think they’ve tried everything. I have confidence I’ll either know, or I’ll figure it out. I’m not saying this to boast. I am so humble because every single day before I start a treatment, I pray that God gives me the ability to give each client what they need that day. I’ve put in the time and work, but only through God am I able to show up each day. If you’ve walked in to my studio willing to give me a chance, just know, I appreciate you more than you know. 🙏🏼
