After more than two decades behind the chair, I’ve learned that the best hair usually isn’t about chasing every trend or trying to make your hair something it simply doesn’t want to be.

It’s knowing YOUR hair.

What it needs. What it can handle. What products actually make a difference. When to push it a little and, maybe more importantly, when to leave it alone.

And here’s the other thing I think is kinda chic…

A hairstylist who really sees you. Listens to you. And cares enough to be honest with you.

I’m never going to tell you yes just because it’s what you want to hear. I care way too much about the integrity of your hair for that. My goal has always been beautiful, healthy, wearable hair that still feels like YOU.

That will never go out of style.

When I started sharing pieces of my little world online, I never imagined 20,000 people would decide to come along for the ride.

Some of you have been sitting in my salon chair for 20+ years. Some found me because of a hair tip, a home find, a vintage rug, a candle, a garden project, or a random internet rabbit hole we somehow ended up in together.

You’ve celebrated the wins with me, encouraged me through the hard seasons, shopped small, shared my posts with friends, and made this little community feel like so much more than social media.

Every order, every comment, every message, every visit to the shop matters more than you know.

So here’s to 20,000… and to whatever we’re building together next. I have a feeling we’re just getting started.
