🚨💕Happy Menstrual Hygiene Day! Whilst the movement originally started as a campaign to raise awareness of the lack of access to safe and hygienic menstrual products and facilities, it has grown beyond the hygiene horizon to now focus on wider issues related to the stigma, social context, and education. Menstrual hygiene day is to help prevent infection, reduce odors, and stay comfortable during your period. I’m going to list a couple of tips for healthy habits when it comes to your hygiene:
-wash your hands before and after using a menstrual product
-change menstrual products regularly
-use the lowest absorbency product needed
-discard used menstrual products properly in a trash bin
- wear breathable clothing
-keep your ge***al area clean
-use unscented hygiene products

Period education🩸:
The most powerful tool that people have is education. Education unlocks opportunities, new perspectives, and creates more knowledgeable learners. 🩸Menstruation, or period, is nom va**na bleeding that occurs as part of a woman’s monthly cycle. Every month, your body prepares for pregnancy. If no pregnancy occurs, the uterus, or womb, sheds its lining. The menstrual blood is partly blood and partly tissue form inside the uterus. It passes out of the body through the va**na. Light or moderate bleeding a normal for va**nal bleeding. 🛑If the person is soaking pads within less than an hour or two and heavy for a long period of time, the female should consult with a health professional immediately. Different types of menstrual products a female should use are🧺:
- sanitary pads
- Tampons
- Menstrual cups
- Menstrual discs
- Period underwear
These products are used to manage the blood when a female is on period. Female products can be bought at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, or any grocery store/ supermarket.

What is the pink tax? 💕The pink tax often refers to state sales on menstrual products, like tampons and feminine pads. Those feminine hygiene products are necessities for many women. But, many states tax feminine products as luxury items while exempting other necessities, like groceries and medicine, from sales tax. And, because men typically don’t pay for the same high prices for personal care items (and feminine hygiene products are designed for women), the added cost on feminine and other products marketed to women has been dubbed “the pink tax.” Why pink🩷? Pink is the color that is often used by manufacturers to market and brand products that are designed for women. I think it is u fair and equal for women to have to pay for menstrual products when they should be free for any person who needs them.
