Why do I need to pay a credit fee?
Business costs are rising rapidly due to inflation, and credit card processing fees are a major part of those costs. Instead of raising prices on all of our services for everyone, we opted to pass on this cost directly.

What happens to the credit fee during a refund?
If there's a full refund, the whole credit fee will be returned to the client. If there's a partial refund, it will be returned proportionate to the amount refunded.

Can you waive the credit fee?
The credit fee unfortunately cannot be waived for any transactions. However, if you do not wish to incur the fee, you can always pay with a debit card, cash, or check.

Are credit fees even legal?
Credit card surcharges are legal in all but four states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, and Oklahoma. While some states such as California have codified laws about surcharging, they have generally been overruled in court.
