The most romantic European patio anywhere, is our famous Spanish Patio, which was designed to represent a castle's inner court and was inspired from Frank Miller's 1911 visit to Spain. The terra cotta tiles and the entire west wall were inspired by a visit to Seville, and the gargoyles guarding the fountain were copied from a water spout brought by the Millers from a battlement of a castle near Barcelona.
