Hello, My name is Judy B 👋🏻
I’m a licensed Lash Artist who decided to start a Salon Suites business! I am now cofounder of .riverside with 33 salon suites and independent business owners 🔥
I love connecting with women during our Lash appointments but I’m also passionate about mentoring and guiding women through entrepreneurship.
My experience expands from market research, pricing, business development to finances. I want to help as many women as possible to start and grow their business through education and support.

I’m in the middle of selling my home and buying one in Riverside, yet, last nights game was far more stressful 😅
Anyway, what a blessing that my business has grown enough for us to finally afford moving back to Riverside 🙌🏼
Long but honest post… Life is hard. Being a business owner is hard.
But it’s what we do during hard times that helps us grow and learn.

Husband was supportive in November 2019 when I randomly told him I was going to take a lash course to offer lashes on the side for extra income.
He was supportive in December 2019 when I quit my corporate job to lash full time from home.
He was supportive March 2020 when the world shut down and I decided to continue growing my business.
He was supportive January 2022 when I opened my first suite. Then in 2023 when I expanded from 3 suites to 12. Then again in 2024 when I expanded to 21 suites. He was supportive in 2025 when I opened 2 more locations.
He is being supportive now that I decided it’s time to sell our home and purchase in Riverside.
No matter what crazy idea I come up with, he’s already ready to back me up fully. Thank you husband for believing in me and believing in us. Love you 🫶🏻
It’s always sad when we lose clients but it’s usually not personal.
Sometimes it’s not a good fit but usually it’s just that they need something different than what you offer.
Everyone is trying to do their best and what’s best for them.

Yes!! Supplies are expensive! Rent and utilities are expensive!! Your skills are improving.
do you think Starbucks is scared to raise your prices? No, they’re not! Because they know what they provide, and they know that the people who want Starbucks are going to buy Starbucks.
Know your value. Charge what you know you are worth. Clients will either fit you in their budget or they won’t. Either way, the right client will find you 🙌🏼
