Microblading is such a great option for most people! But here are a few things to keep in mind prior to getting any cosmetic procedure done and what could possibly disqualify you from being fit for microblading!

-Under the age of 18
-Pregnant or nursing
-Undergoing any chemotherapy or radiation
-Type I diabetic (doctors note required)
-Use of Accutane (you must be off for atleast 1 year)
-Taking oral/topical antibiotics (must be off for 1 month prior)
-Taking oral/topical steroids (must be off for a minimum of two months)
-High blood pressure
-Viral infections, sicknesses, diseases or any infection
-Skin irritations such as psoriasis around the brow area (sunburns, rashes, acne, etc)
-Chemical peels or laser treatments (atleast two months prior)
-Have had Botox in the last three weeks
-Allergies to lidocaine or topical anesthetics
-Surgery within one month
-Using skin are treatments that contain retinol, glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, or alpha hydroxy) stop use one week prior

Skin type has a lot to do with the retention as well, if you have more oily skin, that will shorten the span or your brows resulting in sooner touch up sessions being needed. Dry skin with have the best retention but both skin types are still great candidates! After care also has a lot to do with results which is why it is best to follow instructions to the best of ones ability!
