What to expect after your lip blush appointment? Day 1 -2 – Swollen and tender lips, Also expect Lymphatic Fluid on your lips, this is completely normal…your body produces this fluid as an inflammatory response. It is very important to pat dry with a clean paper towel to avoid patchy healing. Do you see the Lymph Fluid on my clients lips?
Day 3-5– Lips may appear darker and uneven. They will feel dry and start flaking. Make sure to keep them moisturized with the ointment given to you by your artist and follow the instructions in the aftercare. Day 3-10– Color will soften a lot and may seem to disappear. Continue to follow the aftercare instructions. Day 11-40–Color will return and lips will looks softer and natural. More color will added and adjustments will be made at the touch up appointment.
