Update on Mom: she’s back home and doing much better! She still needs to take it easy for a couple of weeks—which is definitely the hardest part for her. Keeping her resting and in one place will be the real challenge! Thank you all so much for the prayers and messages—we truly appreciate every one of them.
Hi all — Tabitha here. I just wanted to give my parents’ faithful followers an update on Mom.
We haven’t shared much yet, but Mom is currently in the hospital and will likely be here a couple more days (still waiting to see). She had been having trouble breathing all weekend and finally agreed to go to the VA ER on Wednesday. When she got here, her oxygen was at 84 and wouldn’t stay above 90, so they admitted her right away.
She’s been on oxygen and steroids, and they’ve run a lot of tests on her heart and lungs. Right now, they believe it’s emphysema/COPD combined with an asthma flare-up that caused everything to escalate. The asthma is seasonal, but the emphysema could be from years of pottery dust exposure and burn pits during her military service—nothing confirmed, but a strong possibility.
They found a slight heart murmur but her echo and multiple EKGs and lots of bloodwork have all been normal! They did find fatty liver as well, and additional testing has been sent off for that, which should take about 10 days.
The plan is to get her through this current flare-up and then start a maintenance plan to help prevent future episodes. They’re also discussing adding Ozempic to help with her blood sugar and fatty liver.
Her blood sugar has been very up and down—she’s been borderline diabetic for about a year and managing with diet, but it’s been creeping up. With the steroids, it’s spiked higher than usual, so they’ve started insulin while she’s here.
And in true Mimi fashion—she’s still asking about items for her Whatnot venture 😂 She said to tell everyone to send over anything you’d love to see her feature!
We appreciate all the love, prayers, and support. We’ll continue to keep you updated as we know more. ❤️
We’ve got our account set up, just not fully ready to start yet! I have some unique pieces already and I’ll continue to be on the lookout for some great finds—what kinds of goodies would you all be interested in seeing?
Friends - Thank you all so much for the encouragement and positive support on my Whatnot idea—it truly means more than you know! I’m excited to give this a try and see where it goes.
I’m going to get Tabitha to help me get everything set up, and we’ll be sharing more details in the next few days. Stay tuned… I’m excited!! 💛
Hello dear friends! Tammy here - I hope you are all doing well! We have enjoyed some time off, but now I’m starting to get a little stir crazy 😄
I wanted to hop on here and ask a quick question 💭
I’ve been thinking about trying something new and fun—doing some live auction shows on the Whatnot app featuring vintage decor and assorted gently used pieces. This would not be our traditional pottery we are known for, just a creative new little venture now that we’ve stepped away from the pottery business.
Before I make any decisions, I wanted to see… is that something you’d be interested in? Would you follow along and join in on the fun?
No pressure at all—I’m just feeling things out and would love your honest feedback! ❤️

Last chance to claim any of these remaining pieces! I’ll be closing everything out on Sunday and starting the invoice process. I’ve also discounted the ones that haven’t been claimed yet 😥 they feel lonely! 🤭

🥳🤩 Pottery Post — FINAL BATCH
These pieces include items that were never claimed, not paid for, and a few we had been holding for customers who never got back with us.
This is it, folks — the very last batch. Once these are gone, they’re all gone!!
Please remember to comment directly on the picture of the piece you want 🙂
📣Pottery reminder — tonight at 7:00 PM I will be reposting all pieces that were not paid for or claimed. This is the final chance to buy any items, so if you were waiting to check out what is left, be sure to check back this evening. First come, first served ✨
Good morning!
All invoices have been sent or attempted. Most have already been paid—thank you! I will give everyone until Sunday to complete payment for their orders. Any invoices that remain unpaid will be reposted on Monday.
Since this is the final batch of items, anything not paid for will be reposted so others have a chance to claim. Please be sure to check your Facebook messages.
Stay warm this weekend!
-Tabitha
