My client came to me with quite a bit of warmth, compromised ends, and hair that had already been through a lot of lightening from a previous stylist. Our goal today wasn’t to throw more bleach over everything, it was to work with what we had and make her hair look and feel better.

We focused on:

✨ Adding lowlights to bring back depth + dimension
✨ Blending everything together for a softer, more natural blonde

✨ Let’s talk about lightening over box color!

This client came to me with previous box color and wanted to start going lighter. Instead of trying to push her hair too far in one appointment, we went in with a teasy light to begin breaking up the darker color while keeping the health of her hair our #1 priority. 🤎➡️✨

One thing I always want my clients to know: box color doesn’t mean you can’t go lighter, it just means we may need a little patience.

When permanent color has been layered onto the hair, it can lift differently throughout the head and sometimes expose warmth along the way. That’s why going lighter after box color is often a process, not a one appointment transformation.

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I’m officially back from my trip to Germany! 🇩🇪 We had such an amazing time with my family and made so many special memories. JJ got baptized, we got to walk around the city I was born in, and I’m so thankful we were able to take this trip together.

I’ll officially be back behind the chair starting Monday, and I can’t wait to see you guys and tell you all about our trip! ✈️💇🏼‍♀️
