Since its closure in 1988, the former train station was exposed to the weather and vandalism. Ford Motor Company purchased the building in 2018 for a technology hub and has meticulously restored the building to its former grandeur. Throughout the day, Michigan Central and Ford Motor Company are allowing HistoricDetroit to share stunning before-and-after photos. For additional photos, visit the HistoricDetroit page.
