Warrior Mia DeCamilla scans on Friday showed no cancer! Our baby is officially cancer free!!! Mia’s protocol will be 10 years of blood work and scans to check for cancer reoccurrence. Our next scan will be in November and every 3 months after that for 2 years and years 3,4,5,6,7 will be scans every 4 months and years 8,9,10 will be every 6 months. Mia’s port removal surgery is set for the end of October, possibly beginning of November. Once her port is removed (because her port will still need to be accessed July-October/November) Mia will ring the bell 🔔 🎗💚. So big celebration then, but honestly everyday is a celebration. For now we’re trying our hardest to stay positive and not stress on each future scan (easier said than done) and reoccurrence rate, but our faith and continued prayers will keep us strong! Our babies Mia and Cameron are ready to enjoy a somewhat normal life.

I’ll never forget a quote that will stick with me for life “when someone has cancer the whole family does too”. That truly hit home for us. For all the families still in active treatment we are rooting for y’all and the finish line will be there! Keep staying strong, keep fighting and NEVER lose hope!!! We love you guys and will always be in our prayers.

Thank you everyone who donated to MIA !!her big day is Monday the 23rd for her resection (removing) the tumor. I can’t thank you all enough for helping my cousins daughter and family with medical bills and whatever little miss Mia wants after her surgery. She will be getting all the hearts and hands with your names on them so she sees how many people love her, without even knowing miss Mia .
