This weekend’s Homecoming festivities were a reminder of why we chose to put down roots in Oxford nearly 10 years ago.

As we watched the parade, we saw teachers excited to see their students, older kids making sure the little kids got candy, families lining the streets together, and neighbors showing up to celebrate their community.

Our boys are growing up here. They go to school here. They’re forming friendships here. They’re being shaped by teachers, coaches, and community members who care about them.

When the opportunity came to open La Marquise Salon in Oxford, it wasn’t just a business decision. It was a chance to invest in the community where we’re raising our family.

We’re not just opening a salon here. We’re building something in a place we’ve called home for nearly a decade.
