Let’s talk about why I don’t soak off gel polish between appointments.

I spent many years soaking gel nails off every 2 weeks, until I learned a better way. Soaking off every couple of weeks breaks down the natural nail, weakens the structure, and leaves them thin, bendy, and sad. Instead, I use an e-file to gently remove the color and refine the previous layer of base gel. The key? I always apply 2 coats of flexi gel base, which acts like a safety net, keeping the nails protected, smooth, and perfectly prepped for your new set.

The result?
✨ Stronger nails over time
✨ Long-lasting wear (3+ weeks!)
✨ No soaking, no peeling, no damage

It’s a professional method used in advanced nail care, not a shortcut….but it does save time and money.

Clean cuticles has always been my favorite part of the service. Crisp, clean, hydrated….it’s so satisfying!

Taking the advanced cuticle class last weekend with was such a great experience. I learned techniques I’ve put to work that I’m loving, got to meet so many awesome nail techs, had 2 of my team members also attend which was so fun getting to spend time with them outside of Rochester and the salon and I love that they made continuing education a priority. It’s not easy to do, it’s expensive and it takes time. But you walk away with so much more than you think….you’re inspired, motivated, refreshed, more confident, make lifetime connections and you feel ready to level up.

I’ve been signing up for courses to do my research and really learn all that I can to hopefully be a successful educator one day.
