Bravery doesn't look like one particular thing!

It’s a collection of small choices like being authentic instead of hiding, choosing confidence over comparison, and having the courage to keep going even when things feel hard. This checklist is just a reminder of those little moments that can help you build your bravery into something bigger over time.

Take these pieces of bravery and let them become a part of your daily routine, and watch how your confidence grows with each consistent choice to BE BRAVE!

There’s a lot I’ve learned to love about my vitiligo 💜

A new perspective on beauty. A community that understands in a way I never expected. And a chance to use my voice in a way that might help someone else feel seen. It’s something that used to make me feel different in a hard way, but now it’s something I feel proud to talk about.

Let me know in the comments one thing you love about your vitiligo! 👇🏼⭐️

Since it’s Vitiligo Awareness Month, I wanted to take some time to answer a few of the questions I usually hear when people ask me about my vitiligo!

A lot of people are curious, which is normal! it just matters how we approach it. I’ve learned that conversations can go a long way in helping people understand what vitiligo actually is and what it’s like to live with it. If you’ve ever been curious but didn’t know how to ask, this is a safe place to learn. And if you’re someone who also has vitiligo, I hope this helps you feel a little more seen!

Feel free to drop your questions in the comments below, so we can all learn together! 👇🏼⭐️

I'm still becoming who I'm meant to be, and I think we all are in some ways.

Learning to feel confident in my own skin, especially growing up with vitiligo, has taken time. But every baby step and every challenge has helped me continue to grow into someone I’m proud of! Just remember that change is normal and progress takes time. The best you can do is stay true to your values and keep working toward becoming the best version of yourself!

Vitiligo Awareness Month is here! 💜

For me, this month is about more than just building awareness, it’s about creating connections. I see it as an opportunity to share stories, learn from each other, and create space for people to feel comfortable and see themselves represented!

I’ve learned so much through my own experience with vitiligo, and I’m really excited to educate, spread positivity around this condition, and just be real about what my journey has looked like! If you’re here, thank you for being part of it. Happy Vitiligo Awareness Month!

I’ve learned that confidence starts with feeling seen.

It’s seeing yourself reflected in the world, hearing stories you can relate to, and realizing you’re not the only one who feels the way you do. That understanding makes it easier to accept yourself, and start loving who you are.

Once you start recognizing your own worth and inner-strength, confidence starts to come naturally!

The more we normalize these things, the more people feel like they don’t have to hide parts of themselves.

These are just a few examples, but the more we start accepting and talking about our seen and unseen differences, the more space we make for people to shine! Everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin and accepted for who they are, and it starts with opening up the conversation in an honest, respectful way!

Comment some things you think we should start normalizing as a community 👇🏼⭐️

Angel’s Big Splash started as a way for me to process and share what it’s like living with vitiligo. But seeing how it’s connected with other kids makes it feel so much bigger than me and my story.

Through writing and public speaking, I get to help kids feel understood, accepted, and confident in who they are. It’s cool to see a story that started so personally grow into something that really matters for other people too!

With it being Mental Health Awareness Month, this is your reminder to be a little kinder to yourself.

It’s easy to get caught up in everything going on around you and forget to pause and check in with yourself. You don’t have to have everything figured out, and you don’t have to be okay all the time. Just take things one step at a time and give yourself a little grace!

Everyone has their own story, and connection happens when we’re willing to share it!

When Angel opens up to her friends, it makes their friendship even stronger! They ask questions, they understand more, and they accept her exactly as she is. That’s something I’ve learned too. The more I’ve opened up and shared my story the more I've learned that being yourself doesn’t push the people away, it brings them closer.
