When you start embracing your natural hair in between the highlights, that’s when your hair truly starts to look — and feel — its best.
As my career has evolved, so has my approach behind the chair. I no longer believe in overly highlighting hair just for the sake of making someone “blonder.” In my opinion, that’s when hair starts to become brittle, overworked, lacks dimension, and ultimately loses its integrity.
Healthy hair with intentional placement will always outperform over-foiled hair.
You do not need to highlight every single strand for your hair to be beautiful. In fact, leaving depth and contrast is what creates richness, dimension, longevity, and overall healthier hair.
Do what’s necessary for the goal — but don’t overwork the hair to the point where there’s no dimension left.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk 💁🏼♀️

Isn’t she just the prettiest?! I’m so glad slid into my DMs and booked her wifey an appointment with me cause I didn’t realize how much I needed them in my life 🤍
This career not only allows me to show women how beautiful their hair can be, but it’s also introduced me to some of the most meaningful friendships in these past 11 years.

R O U N D ✌🏼
Brie’s second session of removing 10 years of overlapping black box dye — and this kind of transformation is truly a marathon, not a sprint.
The biggest challenge with this correction is that her hair is naturally on the drier side, which means it’s more porous. Porous hair tends to grab onto artificial pigment and hold onto it for dear life, especially years of repeated black box dye.
When I’m working on healthier, less porous hair, I’m typically able to lift out old color much faster. But with hair like this, the goal is to carefully and strategically remove years of buildup while still protecting the integrity of the hair every step of the way. Healthy hair will always come before rushing the process.
And honestly? The progress after only TWO sessions is already incredible. 👏🏼
If you’re currently stuck with years of dark box dye and wondering if your dream hair is still possible — it is. It just takes patience, realistic expectations, and a hairstylist who prioritizes the health of your hair during the journey.

Gray blending is not always about making someone lighter every single appointment.
Sometimes, it’s about protecting the integrity of the hair while strategically playing the long game.
I made Liz wait 11 months between highlight sessions. Why? Because she came to me with significant damage and color history from previous appointments not done by me. Instead of aggressively pushing her hair past its limits, I chose to slow down, preserve her hair health and rebuild her blonde the right way.
Now, 3/4 of the old damage and previous color has finally grown out and by the end of this year, this entire head of hair will be fully transformed into healthy, dimensional, lived-in gray blending created exclusively by me.
This is your reminder that luxury hair is not rushed.
Healthy hair always wins.
And sometimes the most beautiful transformations happen slowly, intentionally and with a long-term plan in mind. ✨

Cutie Madeleine asked me to make her brighter while still keeping her blonde soft, seamless & lived-in ✨
So I strategically added a few more highlights through her money piece and around her face to create that extra pop of brightness without sacrificing dimension or longevity. Intentional placement always wins because more blonde doesn’t have to mean over-highlighted.
The goal? Bright, expensive-looking blonde that still grows out beautifully between appointments 🤍

Your blonde probably isn’t “fading.”
It’s losing reflection. ✨
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear behind the chair is:
“My toner washed out.”
But most of the time, the real issue is:
• product + hard water buildup
• excessive heat styling
• using the wrong shampoo too often
• dryness + damage causing the cuticle to lose shine
Healthy blonde reflects light.
Damaged blonde absorbs it.
That bright, expensive-looking blonde everyone wants? It comes from intentional blonding, proper home care, healthy hair habits, and understanding what your hair actually needs between appointments.
Blonde maintenance is more than purple shampoo. 🤍
Save this before your next hair appointment & send it to your blonde bestie.

If you’re searching for a hairstylist who understands that luxury hair is more than just “being blonde” —
- intentional placement that enhances your natural depth
- lived-in color designed to grow out beautifully
- the beauty of clean raw lift without overtoning
- creating customized hair that fits you instead of chasing trends
- and building a hair care routine tailored specifically to your hair goals and lifestyle
…then welcome to the experience I’ve worked nearly 19 years perfecting.
My goal is never just pretty hair for one appointment.
My goal is healthy, expensive-looking hair that feels effortless long after you leave my chair. ✨

A common question I get asked about my work is:
“Do you lowlight your blondes?”
And the answer is usually no. 🤍
Instead of filling the hair with artificial depth, I prefer to use my client’s natural hair color and strategically foil with intention. By leaving enough natural hair in between the highlights, I’m able to create contrast, dimension and longevity without relying on extra color that will eventually fade out.
Because here’s the thing — all hair color fades. Permanent, demi & semi color all fade warmer over time and when lowlights begin to fade, blondes can start looking muddy, brassy or dull. Most of my clients want to stay bright, creamy and expensive-looking between appointments, so I’d rather create dimension from intentional placement than spend appointment after appointment correcting faded lowlights.
This is why “less is more” can completely transform a blonde. ✨
